  1. Check Air Bricks are not blocked cavity wall only.

  2. Check Air Bricks are installed at top and bottom in each Face of Brickwork cavity wall only.

  3. Check Air Bricks are installed at top and bottom of Chimney Stack - if Chimney is Capped.

  4. Scrape and Remove Paint on External Brick skins of Affected Areas.

  5. Ensure Bathrooms and Kitchens have active ventilation systems (Extraction Fans).

  6. Check Rainwater Goods & Guttering is free of debris.

  7. Check Ground Drains are Working - remove silt only by hand when necessary.

  8. Check Ground Drains are not Broken - wearing gloves, feel and inspect the Drains for damage/cracks.

  9. Apply Thompsons Waterseal using Hand-Pressurised Spray Bottle (wand-type recommended).

  10. Ensure Windows are opened regularly and premises are adequately Heated to increase Positive Pressure and promote Healthy Airflow.
