Rake out, brick cleaning and repointing to an Edwardian Townhouse - lime bedded brick property in Stockport, Manchester.

Colour coordinated orange pitsands chosen to match the existing brick colour.

Non-fly ash mortar was used to coincide/marry-up with the straight lime mortar that was used as the bedding material in the walls original build.

Preparation

Double scrubbed due to stubborn dirt from many years prior. Porous brick; extra care has to be taken to prevent colour-bleaching of this brick type.

Repointing & Aftercare

Repointed using our inhouse hybrid lime mortar.

Finished with a contractor grade breathable silicone brick sealant, liberally applied in multiple stages for optimum results.
